Perhaps I'm presently insomniac-dreaming, but it really reminds me of an otherlands-sunset against water...with the light-lines of detailed cartography and maps sort of spun round like spider-silk and smoke. Perception of places and borders presented in their illusory, whimsical, ethereal reality.

Beautiful, im pretty much hypnotised. Brilliant patterning. If an images could encompass classical music itself, this would be one of them.

Reminds me of the SpiroGraph I had when I was a little'un. One slight bit of criticism though is that you'r always using a flat gradient for a background. Maybe you could try something different?

Ahh, reminds me of my marching band days. Ode to the mighty music staff.

You have a way with line and color. Bravo, my friend. I always enjoy looking at your work.

Love and Luck,
Kat

That would be more than sufficient. Also interesting will be seeing how you fit this vertical-line themed picture into a horizontal space.

Beautiful! I've been looking at a lot of images with the 'fresh' colourscheme (lime green and sky blue sorta thing) or pastels lately - changing my eyes to this fiery warmth is a nice feeling indeed. Add to this bonus the image is nice and large - I think this one of my favourite pieces from you in a while now. Probably my favourite part is the change from infinite detail in the middle to a few elegant curves out by the side.
I saw a requiest for a wallpaper of this, I'd like to throw my vote behind that but also a huge version of this that I can slowly scroll around on my 17" to admire.
You did add that rant about people adding your stuff to favourites though, do I dare click it? :P Course I do.

Does a 1600x1200 wallpaper suffice? That's usually what I release them at.

not feeling this one smash, could use a little form and you lose flow with how it's clustered in the bottom.

ah, i'm not so sure if i can describe these parts well...

but this is my opinion
In the red/orange merge area around the middle (& to the right)... i think part of your design seems out of place.
In the middle-southern area, i think the thin streaks/kines of red stand out too much.

nevertheless, i think this piece looks very nice.
