As a whole, the album is more melodic than I originally set out to make, but as it all came together, I've grown quite fond of a couple of the songs. The style is "techno" I guess, though you're urged to DL the album sampler to see what the music really is like. It has a lot of piano/strings/breakbeats.
If you DL the music, please at least leave a comment or a thank you. I'd love to hear feedback from people on what they're favorite, or least favorite tracks are, but any feedback is good.
If you go to DL, and it doesn't work, that means the server throttle came on... just wait like 20 minutes, and try again.
(For those of you who DL'ed the single "Descending The Candy Cane Umbrella" from my journal earlier, You'll probably want to pick up this version with the CD, as it had a couple minor tweaks to it since, and the tags and all the info on it are right this time.)
Thanks in advance for any comments/feedback.
If it were vinyl, I'd have ground it to pieces listening to it through the needle so many times by now. I'm very glad it isn't. It's a shame you've taken down the older music of yours. I'd love to have them.
I made the mistake of picking just one piece from each album, before you took them down.
I regret it bitterly now. I've downloaded EVERYTHING I've gotten my hands on after listening to those old ones a thousand times over.
Some I can no longer find.
I ask you to please put all the older music back online as well, or sell them as CDs, or anything else. I want to love to pieces all the other tracks as well.
I've deleted all the songs I downloaded last time: and I couldn't help but notice that none of the links seem to be working; and that the "Artist's Comments" section failed to explain this.
Brilliant album artwork also! Fresh, bright and clean.
favorite tracks are:
- Decending the Candy Cane Umbrella- i like the beat of it. The sound reminds me a bit of alice in wonderland... I imagine the white rabbit scurrying around to the music.
- Forward or Backwards- The words feel familair and yet not (deja vu type thing) and the piano-type music really carries the song through
it fits together nicely
-letters from home
i actually can't place a finger on why i like this one... i just do
(And if you're wondering why I didn't just wait until tomorrow to comment, this is kind of also a way to get back to your page, and this deviation in particular. I mean the link to this that'll be in my 'Activity')
Thanks for the current/and soon to come feedback, glad you like it.
As for a favorite song of mine, I think I'd go with Sneaker Pedal or Ride With The Lights, simply because I enjoyed listening to them the most. Not to say the rest were bad though; I actually enjoyed the entire album, and it was nice music to have on while I was writing. Something to listen to, but not something that would distract me from what I was doing, so I could actually get some stuff done.
This album is very well done, and you should be proud of the work and music you've created. Awesome stuff
next i would say that all your music rock. some rocked more, some rocked less
The best one is, with no doubt "Descending The Candy Cane Umbrella" while the worst (sorry, but you need critique) "My Neighbor Bubbles". i cant explain to you why i dont like it, i just dont... all the others are great.
If its ok im gonna seed this at the next big Lan party, i will tell you how many downloadet it. It will be tommorow, and i will be back sunday.
I will be more then happy if you gave me permission to give this to others
*whispers* this is the first legal music in my music folder... scary */whispers*
on the big sound system track 2 was played all the time and that is not my choice, i just showed them the cd.
This is a major step for you, you should go contack somebody and get this out on the streets
I think I've heard of 'Smash Method' before.
Well, all the same, I like techno, and a thanks.
But the design of the cover is fantastic. Good use of type and negative space. well done
m enjoying The Ride with The Lights and Forward of Backward right now, very very cool.
