The Edge Of The World Party by smashmethod The Edge Of The World Party by smashmethod
Album download and additional information now on

As a whole, the album is more melodic than I originally set out to make, but as it all came together, I've grown quite fond of a couple of the songs. The style is "techno" I guess, though you're urged to DL the album sampler to see what the music really is like. It has a lot of piano/strings/breakbeats.

If you DL the music, please at least leave a comment or a thank you. I'd love to hear feedback from people on what they're favorite, or least favorite tracks are, but any feedback is good.

If you go to DL, and it doesn't work, that means the server throttle came on... just wait like 20 minutes, and try again.

(For those of you who DL'ed the single "Descending The Candy Cane Umbrella" from my journal earlier, You'll probably want to pick up this version with the CD, as it had a couple minor tweaks to it since, and the tags and all the info on it are right this time.)

Thanks in advance for any comments/feedback.

I only have ONE of the pieces, Beyond The Dark Life.

If it were vinyl, I'd have ground it to pieces listening to it through the needle so many times by now. I'm very glad it isn't. It's a shame you've taken down the older music of yours. I'd love to have them.

I made the mistake of picking just one piece from each album, before you took them down.

I regret it bitterly now. I've downloaded EVERYTHING I've gotten my hands on after listening to those old ones a thousand times over.

Some I can no longer find.

I ask you to please put all the older music back online as well, or sell them as CDs, or anything else. I want to love to pieces all the other tracks as well.

I like forward or backward too, I'm listening to it right now with my bass full on!...never mind, my dad just yelled at me, but really good!

Yeah.. uhhhh...

I've deleted all the songs I downloaded last time: and I couldn't help but notice that none of the links seem to be working; and that the "Artist's Comments" section failed to explain this.

I really love 'Judging Mosman'. Soundtrack to my nights when I'm coming home on the Tube. :)
Brilliant album artwork also! Fresh, bright and clean.

Really like track 1 - it's just got SOMETHING.

Tracks 1 & 3 are still my favourites, although I really like the beat of track 2. The melody on track 2 is so light and playful, it seems almost trite. I don't know why, but I can't really connect with it. Great work, overall. I'm really impressed with your music. =D

Thanks. I actually made track 2 with a bass filter on the amp. Wasn't until after I had mastered it out that I realized, turned the filter off, and was like "woah, this track is kinda huge." Left it anyways, bass is alright in excess every now and then.

Awesome stuff! I'll have to d/l the rest of the tracks later on my desktop and listen on my alesis monitors instead of my laptop speakers :P Forward and Backward has gained my interest though! I'll have to leave ya a message later about some of your other tracks!
