Maybe if you want color in the card with the hammer, you could have color pissing out like you hit a water pipe, but instead of a water you couild have a spectrum of colors. Alternatively you could have colored rays comming out of the cracks. Perhaps you could expand on the water pipe idea and have color climbing up the hammer.
As you know the last one is my favourite, the first one looks like a bumper sticker and the second is too colorful for me tastes.
I tried covering the hammer in colored inks, it lost all of it's punch. I've developed a new identity with an Anvil I'm quite partial too, I'll post it in a journal soon.
